Circuit 1 : TECHNIQUE - Niveau NOIR - 8.5 km (optimum route), 245 m climb - système SI

Circuit 2 : TECHNIQUE - Niveau ROUGE - 5.3 km (optimum route), 195 m climb- système SI

Circuit 3 : DEBUTANTE - Niveau VERT - 3.3 km (optimum route), 45 m climb- système SI

Start is 15 minutes walk from the meeting point, with three means of transport! Walk 500 metres, take the lift up to Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg railway station, and then the funicular to the Rout Bréck upper station. The start is just outside the door. Toilets at the start, but need a 50 cent coin.

Finish directly outside the meeting point.

Courses close at 13.30 - you must report to download before then. Controls will be removed from 13.15 onwards.

The meeting point opens at 09.30. It has basic toilets, and bags and coats can be left safely. But there is no indoor changing area. 

Sorry, no bar or buvette. But why not go on to one of Luxembourg's Christmas markets after the run, and enjoy some Gromperekichelcher washed down with Bofferding beers or gluhwein!

Terrain - very varied. 20-40% muddy tracks (very little forest running off tracks), 60-80% streets and small paths with hard surface. Many steep flights of stairs. Trail running shoes recommended, dobb studs definitely not recommended.

Possibly some of the most scenic and challenging urban orienteering terrain in the world! Circuits 1 and 2 will pass from the woodlands and Vauban fortifications of Dräi Eechelen to the urban areas of Clausen, Grund, the Vieille Ville, and Pfaffenthal. Some legs will offer very interesting route choice and testing navigation. Full use is made of the whole area used for the 2021 Luxembourg City Race. Circuit 3 will only visit the Pfaffenthal district after seeing the Vauban fortifications.

Please obey the code de la route, take great care crossing all roads, and wear bright clothing - see and be seen by cars and bikes!

Orienteering is an adventure sport - you take part at your own risk. Luxembourg Orienteering declines responsibility insofar as the law recognises this possibility.

The event will also be the 2025 Luxembourg National Championships. Members of Luxembourg Orienteering should enter courses as follows

H-18 to H55 - Circuit 1

D-16 to D75, H-16, H60 or older - Circuit 2

H and D-14 and younger - Circuit 3
